Netgear Serial Number Already Registered
I purchased a used Netgear Nighthawk R7000 wi-fi router from some guy on CraigsList. The router works fine.
However, to use the Nighthawk App remote management features, I need to create a 'MyNetgear' account.
The problem is that requires registration of the device, including entering the serial number. When I do so, I get
- May 09, 2019 Netgear 'MyNetgear' Account: Serial Number Is Already Registered 11 posts Mad Man. Ars Centurion. However, at this point I am completely fed up with Netgear - see my post above.
- I bought a refurbished Orbi and satellite from Amazon. When I try to register the serial numbers, it tells me (unsurprisingly) that they are already registered. Could you please de-register the following serial numbers and re-register them to my account that i'm posting from: Orbi: 4PM7715K042D8. Satellite: 4PN7725D063BA.

Which I did, but have never received a response. And based on the reputation of Netgear's support, I don't expect one.
